AltumView recently successfully wrapped up an one-year Proof-of-Concept (POC) project by collaborating with Keihanna Science City, which is a local organizer of Osaka World Expo 2025.

The collaboration between AltumView and Keihanna Science City started from 2020, when AltumView first participated in the Keihanna Global Acceleration Program (KGAP+), which is jointly supported by JETRO Global Connection, the Embassy of Canada to Japan, the IRAP program of the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada, Japan’s Advanced Telecom Research Institute (ATR), and Keihanna Science City.

In October 2024, AltumView was selected as a winner of the Keihanna Expo Global Startup PoC Challenge, as part of the Osaka World Expo 2025.

During the POC, the AltumView Sentinare sensor was installed at the homes of participating seniors, and AltumView introduced various new features to help the monitoring and prevention of the frailty of these seniors, using the latest large AI model technologies. More AI features will be introduced in the near future. These features can promote healthy and safe living environments for seniors, and contribute to maintaining and improving quality of life (QoL) for elderly people and their caregivers.
